For the determination of soil humidity the capacitive measurement of humidity has been used rarely up to now. In the meantime, due to the strong technology progress in the sensor technology as well as the increasingly favourable sensor prices, the procedure can be used as a competitive alternative for the direct application in soil or deponies - besides the established TDR and FDR procedure.
The aim of this project ist to prove the advantages and disadvantages of this method as well as to present a limitation referring to the established procedures in practical use.
