The hydrochemical and isotopic evolution of the groundwater in the Chaco Tarijeño of Bolivia, between the 21º - 22º W and 62º15`- 63º00`N, and the influence given by the old rainy periods with relationship the more arid period will be investigated. It will be also determined the recharge areas of the groundwater system, their groundwater flow and the interrelation of the groundwater with the superficial water system (especially with relationship to the Pilcomayo river).
